The Sound of Music

Gretch, thanks for getting this up and running.

Even though it's lame, I really would like to go to Salzburg and see all the Sound of Music sites. I'd also want to see Roman ruins, or some stuff that's just as old as it can get (old germanic stuff would be equally good). And some hot springs, or other geothermal features.

This should be awesome. I'd like to propose a map and a polling tool (we could use doodle). Mom suggested (I think) 5 cities, staying roughly 3 days in each city. A map will help us figure out what cities and in what order. The poll will allow us to vote on choices--activities, or cities, possibly dates of the trip, or even how we want to handle things.

Here are a couple of cities:
Trier (or some other old city with Roman ruins)
Dresden (or some city in the old East Germany)
